This week the children have been busy cooking. We talked about how vegetables are good for us and why it is so important to wash our hands before eating or preparing food.
The children told us that a knife was sharp and suggested ways to be safe when using it. The children concentrated really hard while using a knife to cut up the vegetables that we purchased earlier in the day on our walk to the farmers stall.…Some of the children tried the raw beans and tomatoes. The children took it in turns to stir the vegetables cooking in the pan on the hob.
Everyone had a little try of the soup once it was cooked - good work mini TVPS Masterchefs!
